In these crisp, snowy winter days of New Brunswick, it is the warmth of our gatherings—with family and friends—that truly brightens our hearts. As Iranian-Canadians, we are privileged to weave the vibrant threads of our rich heritage into the beautiful tapestry of Canadian traditions.

With the sweet taste of Yalda pomegranates and the cozy memories of the "Korsi" still fresh in our minds, we now join in the joy of Christmas and the excitement of the New Year. These celebrations, though different in form, share a profound universal message: the victory of light over darkness, the promise of a brighter future, and the priceless value of togetherness.

Just as we stood together during the longest night of the year awaiting the dawn, and as we now celebrate the New Year with festive lights, our hearts are already looking forward to the arrival of Spring and the ancient Nowruz—the ultimate symbol of renewal and the rebirth of nature.

In this coming year, we wish every member of our community in New Brunswick a year filled with health, happiness, and prosperity. Let these beautiful, overlapping traditions inspire us to strengthen our bonds of solidarity and move toward a brilliant future in this land we call home.

درخشش نور و امید در زمستان کانادا؛ سال نو میلادی مبارک!

اعضای محترم جامعه ایرانیان نیوبرانزویک،

فرا رسیدن سال نو میلادی ۲۰۲۶ را به همه شما عزیزان تبریک و تهنیت عرض می‌کنیم.

در این روزهای سرد زمستانی، گرمای دورهمی‌های خانوادگی و دوستانه، دل‌هایمان را روشن می‌کند. ما ایرانیان کانادایی، خوشبختیم که می‌توانیم زیبایی‌های فرهنگ غنی خود را با سنت‌های جامعه میزبانمان پیوند بزنیم.

هنوز طعم شیرین انار، غذای فوث العاده و جشن بی نظیر یلدای امسال را زیر زبان داریم که با جشن کریسمس و آغاز سال نو میلادی همراه می‌شویم. این جشن‌ها، با تمام تفاوت‌های ظاهری، پیامی مشترک دارند: پیروزی نور بر تاریکی، امید به آینده‌ای روشن‌تر، و ارزش بی‌بدیل خانواده و باهم بودن.

همانطور که در بلندترین شب سال، به انتظار طلوع خورشید نشستیم و اکنون سال نو را با چراغ‌های رنگارنگ جشن می‌گیریم، دل‌هایمان نیز به استقبال بهار و نوروز باستانی ایرانی می‌رود؛ جشنی که نماد نو شدن طبیعت و زندگی است.

در این سال جدید، برای تک‌تک شما هموطنان عزیز در نیوبرانزویک، آرزوی سلامتی، شادکامی و موفقیت روزافزون داریم. بیایید با الهام از این جشن‌های زیبا، همبستگی خود را تقویت کنیم و با دلی گرم و پرامید، به سوی آینده‌ای درخشان در این سرزمین زیبا گام برداریم.
